This is an old pastel drawing - I did it a lot of years ago ( about 30 years) and found it tucked away in the attic!
This is one of my favourite creatures - the badger x
SOME BADGER FACTS
'Badger' comes from the french word 'Becheur' meaning digger.
Badgers have long claws which it uses to burrow.
The burrows that Badgers live in are called setts.
Badgers are nocturnal and have an extraordinary sense of smell.
Much of their lifestyle is governed by the information they receive through their noses.
Badgers live for around ten years in the wild.
